Seriously - this heat wave we are having is out of control. We are on day #11 with temps at 99 degrees or higher meaning the heat index has been 110-115 degrees & according to the forecast above, there isn't an end in sight.....until July 31st when the KC meteorologists have "predicted" it will finally start to cool down. They also predict that there will be a huge tornado outbreak at that time as cooler air rushes in through "tornado alley".Ugh - that is still 12 days away.
I'm not sure how much longer I can get away with using this "heat" as an excuse to get out of doing things like yard-work, cleaning the house, doing laundry or cooking dinner!? I keep telling Shane that this heat is making me exhausted but for some reason he isn't buyin' it since I work in the AC all day & he works outside all day.
Hmmm - maybe that is why he keeps rolling his eyes at me?!?
